  • Binding: Used by CareTeamDE.participant[behandler].role (required)
  • Usage: Identifies the clinical role of each team participant (Zahnarzt, Arzt, ZFA, MFA, WB-Assistent, Physiotherapeut)

ScheinartVS — Scheinart

Abrechnungsschein-Typen in der ambulanten Versorgung.

  • Includes: All codes from ScheinartCS
  • Binding: Available for use in Encounter-based billing classification workflows
  • Usage: Classifies encounters by billing type (GKV, PKV, BG, Überweisung, Notfall, IGeL)

GenehmigungenLeistungsbereichVS — Genehmigung Leistungsbereich

KV-regulierte Leistungsbereiche mit Genehmigungspflicht.

  • Includes: All codes from GenehmigungenLeistungsbereichCS
  • Binding: Used by GenehmigungenExt.leistungsbereich
  • Usage: Identifies which medical service area requires a KV approval (e.g. Chirotherapie, Sonographie, Psychotherapie). Not used for HealthcareService.type — see HealthcareService Contract.

PraxisHealthcareServiceTypeVS — Praxis Healthcare Service Type

PVS-agnostic ambulatory service-offering categories.

  • Includes: All codes from PraxisHealthcareServiceTypeCS
  • Binding: Used by PraxisHealthcareServiceDE.type (extensible)
  • Usage: Classifies publishable service offerings (general practice, radiology, psychosomatic basic care)

PraxisWorkplaceFunctionVS — Praxis Workplace Function

Hybrid catalog for ambulatory workplace operational functions on Location.type.

  • Includes: All codes from PraxisWorkplaceFunctionCS plus selected valid HL7 v3 ServiceDeliveryLocationRoleType codes (PROFF, OF, DX, RADDX, RADO)
  • Binding: Documented guidance on ISiK Location.type (extensible; no local Location profile)
  • Usage: Classifies how a practice room or area is used operationally. See Location / ISiK Standort Contract.

PraxisHealthcareServiceSpecialtyVS — Praxis Healthcare Service Specialty

Ambulatory Fachgruppe for service offerings.

  • Includes: All codes from https://fhir.kbv.de/CodeSystem/KBV_CS_SFHIR_BAR2_WBO
  • Binding: Used by PraxisHealthcareServiceDE.specialty (extensible)
  • Usage: KBV BAR2-WBO specialty on HealthcareService; map to IHE XDS for ISiK exchange per healthcare-service-contract.md

GenehmigungenTypVS — Genehmigungstyp

Typ der KV-Genehmigung: kopfbezogen vs. betriebsstättenbezogen.

  • Includes: All codes from GenehmigungenTypCS
  • Binding: Used by GenehmigungenExt.typ and GenehmigungenTypExt
  • Usage: Distinguishes whether an approval is bound to the individual physician (kopfbezogen) or to the practice site (betriebsstättenbezogen)

WbRolleVS — WB/SA-Rolle

Rollen für Weiterbildungs- und Sicherstellungsassistenten.

  • Includes: All codes from WbRolleCS
  • Binding: Used by WbRolleExt on PractitionerRole
  • Usage: Identifies whether a physician is a training resident (WB-Assistent) or a locum for ensuring care provision (Sicherstellungsassistent)

Terminmodus für ambulante Konsultationen.

  • Binding: Used by AppointmentModeExt on Appointment (required)
  • Usage: Identifies the mode of consultation: in-person, video, phone, or home visit

AnamneseBogentypVS — Anamnesebogen-Typ

Zulässige Werte für die Klassifizierung von Anamneseboegen.

  • Includes: All codes from AnamneseBogentypCS
  • Binding: Used by useContext[bogentyp].valueCodeableConcept on AnamneseQuestionnaire (extensible)
  • Usage: Classifies questionnaire templates by type: initial intake (Erstanamnese), pain assessment (Schmerzanamnese), preventive screening (Praeventionsanamnese), follow-up (Verlaufsanamnese), or specialty-specific (fachspezifisch)

ProbenmaterialSnomedVS — Probenmaterial SNOMED-CT

SNOMED-CT codes for common laboratory specimen types encountered in ambulatory practice.

  • Includes: SNOMED-CT codes: 122555007 (Venous blood), 122575003 (Urine), 258529004 (Throat swab), 119361006 (Plasma), 119297000 (Blood), 119342007 (Saliva), 445447003 (Specimen from skin), 258580003 (Whole blood), 119364003 (Serum), 122880004 (Clean-catch urine), 257261003 (Swab), 258450006 (Cerebrospinal fluid), 119339001 (Stool)
  • Binding: Used by PraxisSpecimen.type.coding[snomed] (required)
  • Usage: Identifies specimen material type using the international SNOMED Clinical Terms standard; combined with optional LDT FK 8428 coding in the PraxisSpecimen profile

External ValueSets

The IG does not define custom ValueSets for external code systems. Extensions referencing KBV Schlüsseltabellen bind directly to external KBV ValueSets, e.g. KBV_VS_SFHIR_BAR2_WBO for WBO/Fachgruppen coding and KBV_CS_SFHIR_BAR2_FACHGRUPPENZUORDNUNG for RLV grouping.
